AM interviewed on BBC 'Country Tracks'
On Sunday 28th at 11am The BBC programme 'Country Tracks' travelled around the Avonmouth area and featured Bradford-on-Avon and an interview with Alex at the Hall with Ben Fogle and later in the programme Ben visits the factory and rides a New Series along the canal. Even Toby the cat makes an impromtu appearance. The programme is no longer available on the BBC iPlayer but an edited utbe version is available (link below). The footage of BOA starts approx 14 minutes into the programme.
This programme was very well made with lots of film footage and stills from the sixties edited in. It is also unusual in that TV items on cycling often tend to be badly researched, sometimes mocking and get lots of facts wrong. This one seems to be pretty much perfect. I especially liked when Alex corrected Ben for mounting the NS wrongly by lifting his leg over the saddle instead of through the frame. This bicycle is now owned by a Club member in India.
