As many club members are already aware, Friday, April 9th, 2010 is Alex Moulton’s 90th birthday.
The weekend of the 9th, 10th and 11th April will be a busy time for him, celebrating with his family and close friends. So that he can enjoy his birthday weekend in a relaxed and stress-free way, the Club will make its presentation to him on the 25th April at the West Barn, one of BoA Preservation Trust’s buildings just off the Frome Road, a few hundred metres from the railway station.
Bradford on Avon Town Council, the Preservation Trust and the town’s Museum have joined forces to put on a four day exhibition celebrating Dr Moulton’s engineering career at the West Barn from April 25-28.
Many members of the Club would like to pass on their best wishes to him and the Club will be organising a ride in the area. The arrival of the ride in BoA will coincide with Alex Moulton being at the West Barn so that we can make our presentation to him.
